As
the Arts Development Officer, you will work on a range of dance and
drama-based initiatives targeting all sections of the community
throughout the Falkirk Council area.
You will be creative and
self-motivated and have proven experience of arts provision. With
excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), you will be
well-organised, able to work under pressure and achieve deadlines.
This
is a part-time post, 16 hours per week on a job share basis and you
will be required to undertake work outwith normal office hours,
including evenings and weekends.

'At Toonspeak we're looking to recruit drama
workshop leaders and assistants for our new term starting in September.
We're looking for CVs from drama facilitators whose practice fits closely
with Toonspeak's model of Theatre of Empowerment and who have an understanding
of some of the challenges involved in working with young people aged 11+ from
deprived communities. Workshops run Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
evenings from 6.30pm in various venues in

'We are looking for a Technician to work through the Arches busy programme of events.
The main duties include:
To provide technical support for the events programme at the Arches and act as Duty Technician during public events when required. To safely operate and maintain all Arches technical equipment and keep the venue clean and tidy whilst adhering to all current Health & Safety legislation pertaining to the post.
Experience required, amongst other skills:
Experience of working as a venue technician for at least one year.
Experience of operating sound and lighting equipment on live productions and late night events.
Experience of dealing with visiting companies, promoters and artists and assisting with get-ins and get-outs.
Excellent organisation skills.
Knowledge of European Health & Safety regulations.
Knowledge and understanding of basic electrical systems and requirements.
Knowledge of entertainment licensing regulations.
