A National Theatre of Scotland Learn Project in partnership with the Byre Theatre
5th - 10th July 2010
Byre Theatre, St Andrews
If
your youth theatre has a passion for theatre and wants the opportunity
to explore new ideas and take creative risks in an artistically
stimulating environment, then Exchange 2010 is designed for you!
Every
year, Exchange brings together youth theatre groups with professional
theatre artists from across Scotland and beyond, to create and perform
new works for the stage.
Now in its fifth year, Exchange
returns with a new and improved programme of activity which includes a
series of cutting-edge masterclasses, tailored support from industry
specialists and an exciting new opportunity for a writer in residence.
The programme culminates in a week-long festival at the Byre Theatre in
St. Andrews, where all the groups come together to perform work they
have created themselves and to take part in workshops led by
world-class theatre professionals.
