Are you aged 12 - 17? Would you like to be involved in creating an arts festival event that's specially for under 18s? Would you like to meet professional artists, writers, performers and film makers and find out more about the work they do?
If the answer is yes, macrobert would like to invite you to join them for a Cultural Café event at macrobert arts centre, Stirling, on Monday 13th October from 10.00am to 4.30pm.
The team at macrobert are currently working on a funding application to the Scottish Arts Council for money to run an ambitious arts project to create an arts festival specifically for people under the age of 18. The festival will not just be aimed at an under-18 market, but will be created and run by under-18s working alongside professionals from macrobert.
The Cultural Café event is all about sharing creative ideas and finding out about a range of arts activities happening in Scotland. They have invited a range of Scottish artists to attend the Cultural Café to share their creative ideas and talk about their work with you. After meeting the artists you will be invited to feedback your thoughts, ideas and opinions about the work they presented and then help us to develop our ideas for our youth arts festival.
The event will take place at macrobert on Monday, 13th October from 10am to 4.30pm.
