Casting Call - new Alfonso Cuarón film
CASTING CALL!
The search is on for a young Scottish actor for lead role in the new Alfonso Cuarón film.
The filmmakers are currently looking to cast a young Scottish male for a role in a forthcoming feature film as soon as possible.
Director: Alfonso Cuaron (Children of Men, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, Y Tu Mama Tambien, Great Expectations)
Dates (Shooting, Rehearsal, etc.): March - July 2009
Role: SCOTTISH BOY (Male)
Description: MUST BE SCOTTISH.
This is a leading role. The director is prepared to go with someone totally fresh and raw. He must be able to play down to 14 yrs old but ideally be over licensing age ie. 16 yrs old by start of April 2008.
The character is from rural Scotland so it is important that he has innocence and he is not an 'urban' character. The role is very demanding and will require a great deal of commitment and sensitivity as the character has had a very tortured upbringing including bullying, so they are looking for a very special individual.
