Youth Music Theatre (YMT) is holding auditions for young people aged 11-21 in its national search for young people who want to develop their skills in musical theatre.
YMT will cast 250 young people to create 6 new music theatre productions this summer at residential courses throughout the UK. Productions include A Winters Tale by Howard Goodall, Classic FM; a new work Welcome to Loserville by James Bourne from the band Busted and Peter Pan at Aberdeen International Youth Festival.
The Scottish auditions take place from 10am. The auditions are two-hour workshops that are open to all and require no preparation; they are led by directors and composers from YMT: UK's artistic team. YMT: UK can audition over 400 young people in Scotland and participants are advised to book an audition.
The two-hour audition costs £22 and to book a session go to www.ymtuk.org or call 0844 414 4858.
