Assisted delegate places at the Bank of Scotland Imaginate Festival

Join delegates from the UK and abroad at the Bank of Scotland Imaginate Festival to experience the best children’s theatre the world has to offer.  See a range of work aimed at children and young people, meet the companies, discuss the work and find inspiration for your next project.

Imaginate has a number of assisted delegate packages for students, recent graduates and emerging artists and producers in Scotland, offering the opportunity to see a range of high quality performances from around the world. 
 
Writers delegate package at the Bank of Scotland Imaginate Festival
 
Imaginate and the Playwrights’ Studio Scotland are working in partnership to provide opportunities for writers to explore the creation of performances for children.   We are now accepting applications for assisted delegate places for the Writers Delegate Package at the Bank of Scotland Imaginate Festival.    Attending the Festival as a delegate gives writers the opportunity to see a range of world- class performances for children aged between 2 and 14 years as well as the opportunity to meet colleagues and creators from across the UK and around the world. 

Imaginate dance development programme
 
Imaginate, Dancebase and The Space at Dundee College are working in partnership to provide opportunities for Scottish-based dancers and choreographers to explore the creation of dance performances for children and build relationships with children’s performing arts professionals.  Over the next 2 years a range of opportunities will be on offer, including opportunities to see international dance performances, workshops, a development fund and an associate artist opportunity. 

Imaginate is now inviting applications from dancers and choreographers to get involved in the first stage of the dance development project. 
 
Imaginate’s Ideas Fund

Through this Fund Imaginate will support artists who have an idea for a performance for children / young people through the provision of resources to provide invaluable time and space necessary to experiment and formulate their ideas further.

Closing date for Ideas Fund proposals is Monday 30th March 2009.
