Birds of Paradise Theatre Company presents
CLUTTER KEEPS COMPANY by Davey Anderson
It's a school night... your mum's at work and your dad's away. Your sister is supposed to be looking after you. Instead she's wearing bright red lipstick and a tartan miniskirt. And you? You're tucked up in bed, with a tape cassette under the pillow, dreaming of jellyfish...or are you?
The shows are in town. Scream if you want to go faster!
Birds of Paradise returns with a bittersweet comedy thriller about running away from an unholy mess and plunging into utter chaos!
Clutter Keeps Company is written by the acclaimed playwright, Davey Anderson, whose credits include NTS's Black Watch, Architecting, Rupture and Be Near Me. Anderson is a past winner of an Arches New Director's Award. He is also behind the successful Liar, winner of a CATS award in 2009 for Best Show for Children and Young People.
Suitable for young people aged 12 years and upwards.
All performances are surtitled and audio description is embedded within the text.
Catherine Wheels Theatre Comapny presents Pobby and Dingan, a heartbreaking and
beautiful contemporary tale about the possibility of dreams, the preciousness of hope
and how, sometimes, we have to believe in the impossible.
This show is open to all. Youth Theatre groups are particularly encouraged to see the show.

East of the Sun and West of the Moon
The Play
East of the Sun and West of the Moon combines Bunraku style, live hand puppets and onstage actors who interact in a dynamic form of movement theatre.
East of the Sun and West of the Moon is the epic story of a young girl called Bridgette who causes the near destruction of her town when she breaks her promise to a frog. To save her home and her village she must undertake a perilous journey to a far away land, rescue the prince from a troll princess and unlock the meaning of life.
"This experimental theatre piece is anything but traditional. The combination of movement, acting, music and puppetry contributes to a graceful, harmonious setti...All the performers, actors and puppeteers alike, are exceptional."

Transform is a major collaborative education project between National Theatre of Scotland Learn, ScottishPower and the Scottish Government's Determined to Succeed programme that allows schools and communities to transform their approaches to learning. By bringing schools together with theatre professionals, communities and audiences, the partnerships produce high impact theatre events that use the local environment as a backdrop to tell compelling stories.
