Scotland’s National Young People’s Theatre Festival, celebrating the invigorating, relevant, and vibrant work created by young performers in Scotland today.

The NFYT is now two years old, and my how we have grown! Click on the links on the right here to find out more about us going live in 2005, and the bag of tricks that was 2006.

Over 8000 young people from diverse backgrounds are engaged in youth theatre each week throughout Scotland. Youth Theatre is a ‘power’ in its own right, supported and respected by the national theatre community. We are delighted that so many key artistic and creative partners join with us annually in producing this high profile national event…a tribute not only to the outstanding work being created by the young people of Scotland, but also to the value of nurturing the theatre performers and audiences of tomorrow.
- Colin Bradie, Promote YT Director

It rocked! Tron Skillshops

I enjoyed taking part in a workshop with people from loads of other youth theatres, learning a new skill and making new friends – V Good! RSAMD
